Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

DizLink hasn't launched yet. Right now this site is a landing page with a waitlist. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

Who runs this site

DizLink is run by Daryl Dizon, doing business as Dizon Developer, based in Caloocan City, Philippines. I'm responsible for the personal information described here (the “personal information controller” under the law). You can reach me at hello@dizlink.com.

What I collect

  • Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
  • Your IP address, plus basic browser details (user agent and language), when you visit. These are used only for rate limiting and abuse protection. They're kept in server memory and cleared automatically, usually within 30 minutes. If an address sends a flood of suspicious requests, a record of that block (the IP address or browser details, and the time) is saved to a security log and sent to me as an alert.

The site doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Like most websites, the hosting provider's server logs may also record IP addresses.

Why I collect it

  • To confirm your signup with one email when you join the waitlist.
  • To email you updates about DizLink's launch.
  • To keep the site secure by limiting requests and blocking abuse.

I use your email address based on your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist and can withdraw at any time. I use IP addresses for security based on my legitimate interest in protecting the site and its visitors.

Who processes it

I don't sell your information or share it with anyone except these service providers, who handle it on my behalf:

  • My email provider, which sends the confirmation and launch emails.
  • My hosting provider (Hostinger), which runs the site and stores the waitlist database.
  • Telegram, which delivers the security alerts described above to me. These alerts can include an IP address.

Some of these providers may store data outside the Philippines.

How long I keep it

  • Your email address: until DizLink launches, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first.
  • Security log records: 90 days, then they're deleted automatically.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your personal information is used;
  • access the personal information I hold about you;
  • object to its use, or withdraw your consent;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • have your information deleted or blocked;
  • get a copy of your information in a common format (data portability);
  • be compensated for damages if your information is misused; and
  • file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

To use any of these rights, including removing your email from the waitlist, email hello@dizlink.com from the address you signed up with. I'll confirm once it's done.

Complaints

If you think your personal information has been mishandled, please tell me first at hello@dizlink.com. You can also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
